High Mountain Volleyball Club (HMVB) is a non-profit organization created from a passion to foster youth athletic development and competition in the upper Roaring Fork Valley. Our mission is to bring more volleyball opportunities to girls in the valley looking to grow their athletic skills and compete at high levels, but also shape themselves into resilient and confident individuals with outstanding character traits. With support from the community and their years of dedication to the sport, coaches and founders Maddy and Matt Bergdahl hope to nurture each player throughout their volleyball career and open doors for their futures.

Our club travels locally around Colorado to regional competitions and on occasion to larger national tournaments and neighboring states as well. We believe in advancing personal and athletic growth through a spectrum of challenging and high level competitions where our athletes will not only refine their volleyball skills, learn the values of perseverance and sportsmanship, but also learn how to win.

We believe in creating a well rounded individual, therefore we emphasize the importance of being both a student and an athlete. We design our programs to help support each individual and their families goals for the current season and their futures. Additionally, we equip our players with the knowledge and resources they may need to navigate the course towards collegiate level sports.

Through a combination of training, character development, guidance, and our supportive community, HMVB prepares young athletes to discover their ultimate potential. The lessons learned in our programs are beyond just the court, we empower participants to embrace challenges, seize opportunities, and become leaders within their community.
